Perpetual Metamorphosis
2018-present
These pieces were started in 2018 at the Jentel Residency Program, a month long artist residency in Banner, Wyoming.
In this series, I explore innovative ways to merge painting and sculpture. I aim to create a seamless integration of the two mediums, where the sculpture's dimensionality enhances the painting's visual depth. In parallel, I approach painting as a fluid and evolving process, allowing the work to transform over time. My wall paintings, for instance, exemplify this approach by continually rearranging their compositions, offering a dynamic interaction between form, space, and perception. This evolving quality invites both the artist and the viewer to experience the work in a constant state of flux.
