22 Views of Mokuhanga showcases work from twenty-two international contemporary artists practicing mokuhanga, a traditional form of water-based Japanese woodblock printmaking. Each work is unique in style, content, and technique. Featured artist, Chihiro Taki, is based in Tokyo and teaches at Mokuhanga Innovation Laboratory in Japan, an international artist residency that focuses on mokuhanga. Many of the artists in the exhibition are connected to this residency in some form.
